The other night after I was in my PJs while Hubby was settling George for the night I got a knock on the door. It was dark and cold and I really didn't want to answer the door in my PJs but what else could I do.

It was two members of the church of the later day saints aka Mormons

I'm far to polite, I just wanted them gone so I could get one with my evening plus did I mention I was in my PJs.

Of course after they left I got thinking about what I should have said to them to get them to leave faster and not talk about coming back - which I think these two are planning on doing even though I told them it's a really bad time and that baby is due soon.

1. I go to a Presbyterian church and I'm very happy there. I get what I need from this church for me to grow spritely(no idea if I've spelt that right), my husband is happy in this church, and I'm currently working on getting this church to meet the needs of my son and future children.
2. I have a calling from God to work in some kind of youth ministry. I've only recently acknowledge this calling to myself and people close to me. In order to answer this calling I personally feel I need to do some serious study of the bible.
3. With a baby due in less than 2 months I can not commit to anything including study.
4. I am interested in learning more about the church of the later day saints and will read the book of Mormon but NOT until after I've done the study of the bible that I want to do.
5. Just because I'm interested in the church and reading about it doesn't mean I'm interested in joining it at all.

Now I've written it down I will make sure I have a copy handy just in case they turn up again.
